Our automation products include gravity and pick-and place handlers capable of handling a wide range of IC packages and applications. We also develop custom automations solutions to meet customer’s exact equipment requirements. We’re looking for a Materials Expeditor to join our team!
Position Summary:
- The successful candidate will have excellent personal communication skills and the ability to manage their own time.
- Update Epicor with OA dates on all purchase orders. Reach out to suppliers as needed.
- Update Trackers as appropriate
- Communicate with internal and external customers on late deliveries
- Working with the Buyer – Expedite the Supplier as required.
- Track progress and report any delivery status and issues in daily meetings.
- Update Epicor with changes as needed
- Watch ECO’s and PRC’s and identify in process materials that need flagged with changes. Alert Suppliers as required.
- Perform general office duties, responding to emails and performing additional administrative duties as required to support your tasks.
- Track and Expedite RTV parts with Suppliers.
Essential Functions/Major Responsibilities:
- Ensure every PO has an order confirmation from the supplier and check to make sure all information is accurate in Epicor and on the short sheets including delivery dates.
- Escalate and expedite problems
- Track deliveries and the update the short sheets. Expedite and prioritize materials to ensure maximum performance and minimal delays.
- Work with team to resolve problems with purchase orders, incorrect product, quantity, ship/bill to address, etc.
- Enter and update purchase orders as required.
- Set up new vendors as requested from Engineering or Purchasing.
- Collaborate with Buyers, Document Control, Planners, Engineers, Technicians, and other staff
- Maintain contact with vendors and shipping companies as required.
- Track RMAs and work with suppliers to resolve issue
- Update supplier report cards and OTD.
- Keep paperwork and reports current and organized.
- Address issues when they arise with internal and external suppliers and customers.
- Solve problems real time.
Supervisory Responsibility: None
- Education: High school diploma; Further education (2 year degree) or certification is preferred
Experience: 2 to 3 years of related experience
Skills/Technical Requirements:
- Strong time management and organizational skills

- Organized and results-driven with great problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills
- Knowledge of production planning and material control principles
- Able to use Excel, MS Office, and our MRP System
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $23.00 – $28.00 per hour
