Our automation products include gravity and pick-and-place handlers capable of handling a wide range of IC packages and applications. We also develop custom automations solutions to meet customer’s exact equipment requirements.

We are developing an innovative product for our industry packed with new technology that involves robots, precise x-y-z motions, vision, complex algorithms, and HMI/GUI interfaces. We are looking for bright, talented, energetic engineers to join our team!

Position Summary:

Under minimal direction of an assigned lead or manager, designs, develops and documents mechanical assemblies or subassemblies for automated systems.

Essential Functions/Major Responsibilities:

  1. Participate in all phases of projects, including requirement definition, design, testing and integration, as required.
  2. Follow established engineering procedures and specifications for design.
  3. Assist in developing and implementing design procedures for new device packages or modules.
  4. Research, select and test vendor products.
  5. Research and generate solutions for ECO’s and assist in all functions required to generate and process ECO’s.
  6. Support manufacturing floor, Engineering Lab, and machine shop as required.
  7. Interface with customers and sales on projects as required.

Supervisory Responsibility:

May provide work leadership and training to lower level technical or professional employees.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from an accredited college or university.  S. degree preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum of eight years’ experience in mechanical design with a Bachelor’s degree, or five years with a Master’s degree.
  • Skills/Technical Requirements: Proficiency with SolidWorks (latest release), PC software, and practical experience with strong documentation skills.  Base knowledge of semiconductor packages and manufacturing processes.  Excellent oral and written communication skills; ability to give direction to Engineers, Designers and Drafters.
